小悪魔ヘヴン [Koakuma Heaven] (Dears special edition single)

Gackt’s thirty-first single. To celebrate his 10th anniversary
as a solo artist in 2009, Gackt released four singles in four
consecutive weeks. The first release was小悪魔ヘヴン, a song with

point of view of a woman (most likely a hostess), and are fairly
raunchy. The written lyrics include Japanese style emoticons,
commonly used by girls in emails and text messages. The cover
of the Dears special edition single shows a closeup of Gackt,
made up like one of the Ageha models, in full makeup and wig.
The b-side is My Father’s Day. This song was written in memory
of Ogata Ken, who starred in the drama series Furin Kazan with
Gackt, and who passed away in 2008. Gackt has said he regards

The Next Decade (single)

Gackt’s thirty-fifth single. The Next Decade was the theme song
for the movie “Kamen Rider Decade The Movie – All Riders vs.
Dai-Shocker”, which was released in Japan on August 8, 2009.
Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Kamen Riders series,
the film featured all ten of the Heisei Kamen Riders as well
as all of the Showa era riders. Gackt also appears in the film
as Kamen Rider Joji Yuki. Joji Yuki has prosthetic arm attachments
that are used as weapons, and rides a motorbike dubbed the “Rider
Machine”. The CD+DVD version of the single included a DVD with
the PV for The Next Decade. The PV features Gackt as Kamen Rider
Joji Yuki. The CD+DVD single cover version features a closeup
of Gackt on his motorbike. The regular single cover version
features Gackt standing next to the motorbike and holding his
prosthetic weapon arm. As with Journey through the Decade, Gackt
did not write the music or lyrics to this song, and it was released
on the Avex label.
