2014 - The number of Japanese immigrants in Southern Mallepa has been increasing over the years. Frustrations and worry over the recent economic downturn have caused riots to break out all over Mallepa.

Sho, Shinji, and Toshi are three of the many orphans trying to make a living in the streets of Mallepa. Shinji is shot as they attempt to escape and is crippled.

This is the year when Sho meets Kei and Kei became Sho's mentor.

2025 - Sho and Toshi are now grown up. Along with Kei, they try to make ends meet by breaking into various mafia headquarters.

Kei sees Yi-che painting in the park, though the two don't know each other yet at this point.

The trio bump into Son while they are attempting another robbery. Son is seeking revenge for his sister, Yi-che, who was viciously attacked by the mafia. The three become close friends with Son and Yi-che. Yi-che tended to their wounds and it is love at first sight for Sho.

Yi-che completes the mural in the park. Toshi is attacked by the mafia while working in the pizza store. The mafia drag Toshi to the park and start shooting at Sho, Son, and Yi-che. Toshi is shot twice, first when trying to cover the others, and the second in an attempt to save Kei. After Toshi's death, Kei leaves Mallepa.

2028 - Hana is born.

2034 - Sho has his own gang members now, while Son joins the Taiwan mafia. Sho, along with his gang members, robs a jewellery store run by the Taiwanese mafia.

Reunion with Kei, now in a jail and convicted of murder.

Sho's gang members brutally gunned down on the streets. Shinji tries to avenge them but is killed as well. Yi-che speaks for the first time, trying to stop Sho and Son from killing each other.

Yi-che is diagnosed with a brain tumor. Her memory is failing and she mistakes Sho for Kei and Son for her father.

Sho calls Kei for help. Kei escapes and comes back to Mallepa. Kei visits Yi-che in hospital

Sho asks Kei to turn Yi-che into a vampire and Kei refuses, saying that he doesn't want to subject Yi-che to the kind of life he is living. Sho asks him to accompany him in his revenge. Sho makes Kei promise to turn Yi-che and to take care of Hana.

Taiwanese mafia leader is killed by his own subordinate. Sho and Son agree to one last battle. Kei kills the two subordinates and rushes to find Sho. Son kills Sho, when he did not fire his last shot. Kei rushes in only to find Sho on the floor, fatally wounded. A shocked Son raises his own empty gun towards Kei and Kei shot him. Not willing to lose Sho, Kei turns him into a vampire.

Sho leaves Mallepa, leaving Kei to take care of Hana.

2045 - Hana completes a new painting in the park. Kei comes to say goodbye to Hana and wishes her a safe trip.

Sho returns to Mallepa Kei finds him standing in front of the mural, admiring the work. The two decide to go to the beach and they sit in the car waiting for the sun to rise. Kei and Sho disappear.
