In this clip, Gackt, Chemistry and Kinki Kids do a Christmas present exchange. They bring out a tray of wrapped gifts that they have brought. They each take one present, and then while the music plays, they pass the presents around. When the music stops, they get to keep what present they are left with. Tsuyoshi is left with no present at first! So one of the Chemistry guys gives him one of his gifts. They open their gifts and find some crazy things. One of the Chemistry guys receives a machine that sends electrical currents to your muscles. Obviously that gift was brought by Gackt. He hooks up the woman host and the Chemistry guy and then turns the machine on; the girl starts screaming because it’s too painful. The other Chemistry guy receives his own gift, which is a dumbbell. Gackt receives a blonde wig and a samurai cap, which was brought buy Tsuyoshi. Gackt tries on the blonde wig, much to the approval of everyone! When he tries to take it off, it gets stuck on his spiky hair. Gackt doesn’t try on the samurai cap though, and just passes it on. Tsuyoshi receives some clothing, which was brought by Koichi. Koichi receives some salts to put in a hot tub/bath. Tsuyoshi comments that everyone brought some pretty useful gifts, and Koichi says, “everyone except you!” Tsuyoshi looks over at Gackt and is scared by him because he gave Gackt such a crappy gift! In another segment of this episode, we see Gackt’s “new talk show” where Matsuda Seiko is his guest. He talks with her very briefly and awkwardly about Christmas, and then after just a few minutes the “interview” portion is over. He then plays the piano while she sings Sweet Memories. He ends by giving her a gentlemanly kiss on the hand. Gackt wore a dark suit and tie, dark sunglasses, and his hair was red and spiky.

(unknown year)
In this short skit, Gackt is supposed to be on a date with Ai Kago, a member of Morning Musume. Ai is wearing a white sailor suit and hat, and Gackt is dressed in his usual all-black. As the “date” starts, neither of them says anything, and then Ai asks Gackt, “Are you smart?” Gackt pauses and says nothing, and Ai imitates him, saying, “ Yeah, I think I’m pretty smart.” Gackt still doesn’t know what to say. Then Ai says, “Gackt, can you please imitate me?” Gackt starts to respond, but gets lost for words. The audience yells at him, “Do your best!” and Gackt responds to them, “Don’t say that!” Gackt asks her how old she is, and she responds that she’s 13. Gackt says he has never been on a date with a 13 year old before. And then says it’s because he’s 461 years old! Ai is shocked at this and asks if someone can live that long. Gackt says he wants her to forget about that (the fact that a person can’t live that long!). He then says he would be fine imitating her if it was just “morning musume” (daughers) there, but there are so many “morning musuko” (sons) in the audience, so he’s nervous. She then suggests they say “aiin~” together. She does the “aiin~” together with the guys in the audience, but Gackt doesn’t join! He comments that all the musukos know it. The date is over, and he says that young people are scary. Koichi asks Ai if she’d be in trouble if it was a real date, and she says “I’d be in trouble.” Koichi asks Gackt the same question, and he finally imitates Ai, saying “I’d be in trouble,” the same way she said it.

In this episode, Gackt appears with Matsuda Seiko. They have a little segment called “Oshiete, Gackt” (“teach me, Gackt”). Seiko talks about buying a dog recently, and then Gackt talks about his dog, Belle Constantine Chappy. Koichi is amused at the long name, and tells Gackt to say it again. He asks why he chose that long name, and Gackt says, when he first saw him his first thought was “Belle Constantine Chappy!” Then Koichi jokes that Gackt probably loves to play with his dog at home. But Gackt says he is strict with him, and has taught him to stay. Next Seiko talks about how she doesn’t have her drivers license, but wants to get it. Gackt says he thinks of cars as girlfriends because they can be selfish and you spend a lot of money on them. Gackt says how he likes to relax when he drives, so he crosses his legs while driving; he uses his right leg to accelerate and brake, and his left leg to steer! Gackt performed Secret Garden. He wore all black, and was accompanied by GacktJob, who were also dressed in all black. His hair was brown and had a messy look to it. His mic was covered in vines, and there were suits of armor standing on the stage.

When Gackt first comes out on stage, he is greeted by a wildly cheering audience. The woman host asks him if there was something that happened during a recent PV shoot. Gackt talks about how he wanted to make a PV that reflected a spring song, but it was cold and he wore a tanktop, so he was freezing. When he said “tanktop”, he opened his jacket a little, revealing his white tanktop underneath, and the audience went wild! As he finished telling the story, he playfully lunged at the woman host, who reacted by hiding behind the other host. Gackt performed 君が追いかけた夢 (Kimi ga oikaketa yume) in front of a very happy and excited audience. He wore a red and gold silk jacket adorned with tigers, and a white tank top underneath. His hair was straight and brown. He was accompanied by GacktJob, who were all wearing similar casual clothing. The audience was on their feet, some of them waving silver streamers. The stage didn’t seem to be specially decorated, but there were flashing lights and sparkler explosions. He waved and smiled at the audience at the end of the performance before leaving the stage.

Gackt’s entrance onto the stage is hilarious; he’s rolled out on a platform, surrounded by billowing fog, and he’s sitting back on a red couch. The hosts have collected questions, including those submitted on their website, to be asked of Gackt. The first question is, what ringtone do you have on your cellphone? Gackt says, “my own voice.” When his cell phone rings, it says, “Gackt~” The next question is from the audience; she asks, “Have you ever been to a convenience store?” Gackt answers that he doesn’t go in Tokyo, but when he’s on tour, he has fun by going to the convenience stores in other cities. The next question asks for Gackt’s advice on taking college entrance exams. Gackt says, “Kiai desu” (“it’s fighting spirit”). He then says when he went for his college entrance exam, he was 30 minutes late; he thought it was nice to be able to be late! And he says he still passed the exam. The next question is from a 36 year-old woman who says she likes a 24 year-old guy, and wonders what Gackt thinks of someone like her. Gackt says if she likes him, then it’s fine. He says that love is precious~ The next question is again from the audience, and she asks if he had a part time job in high school. Gackt says he had many, but the one that paid the best was his job as a private tutor. The host asks what he taught, and Gackt says he can’t say what it was! But he had many students, both guys and girls. Gackt performed Last Song dressed casually in a gray sweater, his hair smooth and falling into his face. He played acoustic guitar along with You and Chacha. At the end of the song, “snow” came falling down, surrounding them in white.

In this very short clip, Gackt is introduced to another guest, Chinese singer Faye Wong. The audience screams as Gackt walks onto the stage and greets her. Koichi asks him to have a conversation with Faye in Chinese. They greet each other, saying “ni hao” and “ni hao ma”. Gackt then says in Chinese, “It’s nice meeting you”, and Faye responds, “Me too.” Koichi asks what he said, and Gackt says he asked her, “Do you like Japanese gyoza?” (gyoza is a Japanese pot sticker). Koichi asks what she said in response, and Gackt says, “More please!” (he actually says “mou ippai!”, which usually means, “one more drink please!”).

Gackt comes out and introduces himself to Park Yong-Ha who was also a guest, in Korean. Park Yong-Ha introduces himself as well, speaking in Japanese. The host asks Gackt what he does at lives to give sense of togetherness, and Gackt says he does “call and response”, where he’ll shout out to the audience, and they will return the shout out. Park Yong-Ha comments that Gackt is very cool. The host next asks them how they would propose, and Gackt says he would say, “I want you by my side when I die.” Gackt performed Kimi ni Aitakute on this program wearing a black leather biker jacket and black leather pants. He was accompanied by You on acoustic guitar. The stage was decorated simply with strings of yellow lights hanging in the back.

TM Revolution (Takanori Nishikawa) hosted this episode of Pop Jam. Gackt first talks about how people think the two of them don’t get along. They have been on shows together but haven’t had the chance to talk to each other much. TM then asks him about the fan club trip to Australia that year. Gackt says he wanted to go somewhere different, like the Czech Republic, but it would be too difficult to find flights for 1500 fans and hotels to stay there. So it was settled to go to Sydney, where he also decided to do a live at the Opera House. Both TM and Gackt seemed to have a good time, laughing throughout the talk. Gackt and GacktJob performed Black Stone wearing the outfits they wore in the PV. Gackt came out onto the stage, shouting at the audience to rile them up. He interacted with the audience a lot during this performance, pointing at them and shouting at times.
