November 18 and 26, 2001
In this clip, Gackt plays a batsu game with the members of Flame. The game requires each person to stack ice cubes in a glass using chopsticks without dropping or knocking over any of the cubes. Gackt manages to beat two of the guys, but loses to the last guy in the end! As punishment, the losers have to drink raw eggs. Gackt doesn’t seem to have any trouble drinking the raw eggs! Gackt wore a black shirt and black leather pants, and his hair was dark brown.

Puffy Gunfight Show (2001)

The show starts out with Gackt performing Another World. He’s wearing the black and white print shirt and white pants that he wore in the PV for Another World. The stage is very colorfully decorated, looking like the set for a children’s show; you can even see puppets dancing in the background. After his performance, Puffy talk to Gackt about his guitar, which is attached to his hip and doesn’t have a strap so that he can spin it around. Gackt then talks with Puffy about survival games, and he shows off his shooting skills. Next they play a survival game where Puffy and Gackt have to save the princess taken hostage without being shot. You can tell that Gackt has experience with these kinds of games! He expertly slides across the floor, taking cover behind obstacles and sniping at his targets, while the girls are often too scared to move. At the end of the second stage, they have to eat a really spicy soup as punishment because one of them got shot—of course Gackt liked the soup! As the prize for saving the princess, Gackt gets the PSG-1 rifle that he has wanted.

正直しんどい (Shoujiki Shindoi )

April 9, 2003
In this episode of Shoujiki Shindoi, Gackt and Tsuyoshi hang out together and do several activities. First, they meet at a café, where they go over the menu for the day. Gackt calls in his huge bodyguards, who will be coming along for the trip. The first place they go to is Takeshita Doori in Harajuku, where they attract a huge crowd of followers. They stop to eat crepes at Marion Crepe, and by the end of the walk, they have attracted a crowd of 850 people. Tsuyoshi is extremely amused by the amount of attention they are getting, and as he films their trip on his video camera, he jumps up and down to get the crowd excited. Gackt gives his crepe away to a very excited girl at the end, and Tsuyoshi does the same. After Takeshita Doori, they next go fishing, where Gackt has all the luck catching fish. After catching his first fish, he happily shows it off to his bodyguards, who are fishing right behind them. Tsuyoshi nearly catches one, but it gets away, causing Gackt to laugh. After fishing, they go to Tsuyoshi’s house where they have a wine party. Gackt has brought one of his favorite wines, Gavi Di Gavi, and they take turns filming each other and narrating while the other looks serious and drinks the wine. Gackt makes Tsuyoshi drink a lot more wine than he wants to, and at one point, Tsuyoshi walks to the sink and spits out all the wine that has collected in his mouth. Gackt has also brought blue cheese, which the loser of the Jenga game has to eat. They play Jenga, both slightly drunk, and eventually Tsuyoshi loses. He has to eat the blue cheese, which he thinks is disgusting. He playfully sticks a glob of blue cheese on his finger and holds it out towards Gackt, who of course eats the cheese right off. He admits that it tastes terrible too. As Gackt continues filming Tsuyoshi eating the blue cheese, a timer goes off and it’s the end of the show. Gackt jokes that Tsuyoshi must be so relieved that the timer went off! At the end of the show, Tsuyoshi shows an email he received from Gackt which says, “How are you? Only kinki can have such a wonderful drunken look. Let’s get drunk again until we collapse very soon. Gackt.”

In this episode, Gackt goes to Tsuyoshi’s place again. First, he starts ringing the doorbell like crazy; Tsuyoshi tells him to come in, and Gackt gives the bell a couple more rings before walking in. He comments that Tsuyoshi’s room is really disorganized. Gackt brought a big jar of his favorite kimchee, from Yamato restaurant. Tsuyoshi takes a big mouthful of the kimchee. After eating the kimchee, they start jamming on guitars. Gackt asks Tsuyoshi what kind of music he listened to when he first started playing guitar, and Tsuyoshi says bands like Led Zepplin. Gackt says he played Metallica a lot, and he starts playing Master of Puppets on electric guitar. He also says he played acoustic guitar a lot, and then he and Tsuyoshi make up a song together with lyrics about eating kimchee. Gackt’s lyrics are: “I brought kimchee and came to his house to play; Tsuyoshi-kun ate it and made a sour face; right now the kimcheee in my stomach is making it feel a little funny; kimchee no kimochi~~ kimchee no kimochi~~ (“the feelings of kimchee”). Next Gackt talks about how he first only knew about classical and thought rock music was stupid. Then he really got into playing drums, and he worked really hard to become good at it. He then demonstrates his drumming skills for Tsuyoshi. Next, he and Tsuyoshi play a duet on the piano (another song they make up). He tells Tsuyoshi to hit single notes with one finger, while Gackt plays. Gackt performed Juunigatsu no Love Song wearing a long black coat. He is standing outdoors, accompanied by GacktJob, with Tokyo Tower shining in the distance.

速報!歌の大辞10 (Sokuhou! Uta no Daijiten) (November 10, 2004)

Gackt appeared on this program where various artists comment on the week’s top ten songs, as well as songs from 1959. Takanori Nishikawa is also on the program, and Gackt comments how Nishikawa can sing four or five keys higher than he can. He also talks about how he used to sing the song Ai wo Torimodose, from the Fist of the Northstar anime, at karaoke, and how he thought the line “you wa shock” was supposed to be “you are shock”. He also mentions how he has a fountain in his room. Gackt performed Kimi ni Aitakute, which was ranked the number 2 song that week. He wore a black leather jacket and black pants. His hair was dark and long. He sat on stage accompanied by You on acoustic guitar. The stage was decorated with a few trees with light pink leaves.

夢音楽館 (Yume Ongakukan)

2005
The show starts out with Gackt’s performance of Juunigatsu no Love Song. He wore a long black leather coat with a patterned shirt underneath. The stage was simply lighted red. In the first part of the interview, the host Kaori Momoi asks him about his bodyguards. Gackt says that the bodyguards are not there to protect him, but to protect the people surrounding him in case he gets mad and wants to start fighting. He then talks about going out driving with Amano Hiroyuki, and spinning in circles at high speed. He next sings Kimi ni Aitakute, accompanied by super guitarist Kazumi Watanabe. It’s the first time they’ve met, but they get along really well. Gackt praises Watanabe, saying he is impressed by how he can play the guitar so well with such small hands. He performs the song wearing a brown and black print shirt, black leather pants and pink tinted sunglasses. Near the end of the show, the host gives Gackt a gift, which is a hand puppet that says “Happy Halloween”. The last song he performed was Love Letter, accompanied by GacktJob on acoustic instruments and a group of violinists. Gackt again wore the long black leather coat. This time the stage was lighted in soft purple.
