In this episode, Gackt wore his red and gold jacket adorned with tigers and
a white tank top underneath. They started out by showing clips of the Gackt
Best 10, which included PVs, television appearances and concert clips. The
number 1 clip was his performance of Another World at the 2001 Super Live.
Gackt then talks about how Koichi Domoto is always imitating the way he performs
Kimi no Tameni Dekirukoto, while Tsuyoshi imitates his voice. They are both
sitting next to him, and are happy to demonstrate their Gackt imitations.
He also talks about going on Tsuyoshi’s show, Shoujiki Shindoi. Tamori
(the host) asks Gackt how he feels when he appears on television shows, and
Gackt says he is really nervous during the talk portion but during the performance
he is excited. And Koichi jokes that that’s why Gackt gets stuck in
the position where his hand is raised up in the beginning of Kimi ga Oikaketa
Yume. Gackt performed Kimi ga Oikaketa Yume accompanied by GacktJob. The stage
is set up with circular arches in front of Gackt, making it look like a lit-up
tunnel. There are green laser beams shooting out from behind the stage. The
lights shining on the ceiling are purple, making the whole “sky”
purple.

When Gackt first comes out, he is wearing a sleeveless shirt and black pants.
He later changes into a black cloak for his performance of Tsuki no Uta. Hyde
is also on the show, and Tamori asks them about how they first met, and what
they do together. Gackt talks about how he wrote a book (for Moon Child) and
Hyde came to mind as he thought about one of the characters. He then asked
Hyde if he wanted to make the Moon Child movie together. Hyde says that he
thought it would be bad if he was in the movie because he had never acted
before. Gackt knew that Hyde could definitely play the part. Tamori asks if
an imagine of him came to mind while writing the book, and Gackt says, unfortunately,
no. They talk about going snowboarding together, and Tamori is shocked because
he thinks Gackt can’t go out in the sunlight. Gackt says he covers himself
up completely before he goes out snowboarding. Hyde says that Gackt is really
good at snowboarding, and then Gackt says that it’s Hyde that really
stands out. They also go out drinking together and play pool, and again they
praise each other about who is better at playing pool. Gackt says when they
first went to play pool together, Hyde said he knew how to play a little,
but actually he was really good. Turns out that Hyde worked at a pool hall
before! For the performance of Tsuki no Uta, Gackt is standing on stage surrounded
by flaming torches and thick white fog covering the ground. There is a masked
violinist (You?) also on stage with him. In the middle part of the song, Gackt
does some hand motions, which the hostess later explains meant “I will
never forget you.”

In this clip, a guest is talking about her role in a new movie. Tamori asks
her if it’s going well, and she says so far it’s going well, but
she gets nervous. While she’s talking about it, she suddenly turns to
Gackt and asks for his advice. She asks how he would prepare for things like
love scenes. He says it would be fastest to just make a move and fall in love.
He says for him, he thinks it would be faster to be able to treat the other
person like his girlfriend. Then the actress asks him how he makes moves on
girls, and he says that he actually doesn’t really make moves, but just
kisses them and that’s it. Gackt comments that he didn’t know
until just then that she was only 15 years old, and he wondered if it was
alright to be sitting next to her!

The talk portion of this clip is very short, with Gackt telling Tamori about
his house, how it’s dark and the ceiling in his house is 7 to 8 meters
high. Tamori asks why it’s so high, and Gackt says he wanted a trampoline.
They continue talking about the trampoline, and Gackt says he actually does
jump on it, even though his staff told him it’s dangerous. Tamori says
it looks difficult to do, and Gackt says he can do flips in the air when jumping
on the trampoline. He mentions that he does sparring too, and then comments
that it would be really fun to jump on the trampoline and box at the same
time! Gackt performs Last Song playing acoustic guitar along with You and
Chacha. He is wearing a thick casual grey sweater and black pants. The walls
around him are dark, with pinpoints of white light. In the middle of the performance,
“snow” comes falling down from the sky. And near the end of the
performance, three blonde girls wearing white dresses appear standing on the
stage. In the final scene, they disappear.

In this episode, they count down the top 100 songs people want to hear when
they are embarking on a new start. Gackt’s song Another World is number
68, and Gackt talks about a time where he spun his guitar during Another World
and it hit him in the chin. They then show clips of Gackt’s picks for
his favorite “New Start Songs”: ff by Hound Dog, Sankyu by Dreams
Come True, and Love Revolution 21 by Morning Musume. He talks about talking
to the members of Morning Musume at one time, and one of the members says
he spoke them kindly, like an older brother. Gackt performed Another World
with GacktJob. He wore the black and red pinstripe suit he wore during the
Sixth Day Seventh Night tour. They played on a special stage that was surrounded
by the audience on three sides. Gackt

During the talk portion, they showed clips of Gackt’s favorite love
songs: Suki by Dreams Come True, Sankyu by Dreams Come True, and Mou Ichidou
Kisu Shitakatta by B’z. For the B’z song, he talks about a breakup
that happened ten years ago, and how this song started playing while he was
driving in his car right after the break up. The song was on a mix tape that
his friend had made him. He thought the song lyrics matched his situation,
and he learned at that time that the song was by B’z. For the song Sankyu,
he talks about another breakup that happened, and how he listened to this
song in the car at that time. Gackt performed Kimi ni Aitakute for the first
time on this show. He had some problems singing it, and he even apologized
after the performance. Gackt wore a brown shirt and black pants, and his hair
was dark brown. He was accompanied on stage by You playing acoustic guitar.

December 24, 2004
This was the special Super Live Christmas program for 2004. During the short
talk portion, Gackt talks about having bought a home theatre system recently.
He says he watches anything but horror movies. He says he doesn’t watch
horror movies because they scare him. He performed Juunigatsu no Love Song,
accompanied by You on violin. He wore a long black coat, and his hair was
dark brown. He and You were out on a platform in the audience, and the audience
was waving yellow lightsticks all around them. A large lighted Christmas tree
was on the stage behind them.

During the first talk portion, Gackt talks about his fountain at home. Tamori
is amazed at this and asks if there’s river at the bottom, and Gackt
says there’s a pool. He says he turns the fountain off during the summer.
Next, they read a letter to Gackt, asking him why he speaks so softly. Gackt
says he speaks softly because a doctor told him he should protect his voice,
which can get damaged when he is on tour due to all his singing. He now has
the habit of speaking softly. Gackt then talks about how he went to a department
store in America and asked for help, but they were like “Huh??”
because they couldn’t hear him. Gackt performed Arittake no Ai de wearing
a pink floral print shirt, brown pants and pink tinted sunglasses. He stood
on a small elevated platform, surrounded by the audience, the camera spinning
around him. You, Chacha and Ju-ken were also on the outside of the circle,
playing acoustic instruments. Gackt appeared happy and relaxing, smiling and
clapping throughout the performance.

Tamori first comments on Gackt’s hair, saying the two strands look like
lobster antennae. Gackt talks about getting into a quarrel with a girl who
called at him, “Hey Gackt!” and he said to her, “It’s
not Gackt, it’s Gackt-SAN!” The girl responded by saying, “Scary!!”,
causing Gackt to get angry and say, “Are you an idiot?!” He says
that he wants girls to speak like girls, and not say words like chou, hara
and dekkai. He also says he switches to Kansai ben when he gets angry, saying
things like “Aho ka!!” A full translation of this clip can be
found in the Translations section. Gackt
and GacktJob performed Black Stone wearing the same outfits they wore in the
PV. He has some trouble with the headset mic; he had to adjust it in the back
in the beginning, and then one of his hair strands gets caught in the mic,
which Gackt playfully twirls around as he sings. The back of the stage is
decorated with a silvery foil material that is lighted green and yellow.

June 3, 2005
In the short talk, Gackt talks about how he performed in the streets of Kyoto
a long time ago during Christmas. He had broken up with a girl at the time,
and so he decided to sing the song True Love. They then talk about Gundam,
and how Gackt likes Gundam so much that he has memorized the lines from the
anime. He would rewatch the video over and over, and practice the lines in
the bathroom. He demonstrates by performing a line from Gundam. A full translation
of this clip can be found in the Translations
section. Gackt and the band performed Metamorphoze wearing long black
coats with gold trim, black leather pants and boots. Gackt’s hair was
slightly long and dark. The stage was decorated with white columns.

August 12, 2005
In the first part, the host is talking to Aiko who says that when she’s
on a show with Gackt, he’s always saying things to her like “when
the camera goes on you, put your finger in your nose.” Then during Gackt’s
talk portion, Tamori asks what Gackt did for his birthday. Gackt says he drove
to Kyoto to eat ramen for his birthday, but took the shinkansen back to Tokyo.
He also says he’s not the type that usually gets hot, but often gets
cold. Gackt performed Todokanai Ai to Shitteita noni Osaekirezuni Aishitsuzuketa…
wearing the all-black outfit he wore for the PV. GacktJob also wore all black.
Gackt’s hair was brown and parted on the side. The stage was decorated
with columns wrapped in red cloths. Near the beginning of the song, Gackt
suddenly looks to his right as if he heard something. It didn’t seem
to affect his concentration, though, as the rest of his performance was great
as usual.

January 27, 2006
In the first talk portion, Tamori says he ran into Gackt eating soba at a
soba shop. Later, Gackt talks about going to Korea and they show clips of
his arrival at the airport, being mobbed by the Korean fans. He talks about
the concert in Korea, and how the stage was moving up and down so much because
of the audience jumping up and down. At first he thought that the stage was
faulty, but then realized that it was just all the jumping of the fans causing
it. Gackt performed Redemption wearing the black and red outfit from Dirge
of Cerberus, which he also wore during the DIABOLOS tour. He also wore the
cornrows and long curly extensions from the tour, and used the specially designed
mic. The stage was decorated with scaffold-like towers and was lighted in
gold and red.

February 2, 2007
In the first part, Gackt talks about how No ni Saku Hana no You ni is a graduation
song. In the next talk portion, they show clips of Gackt riding in on a horse
at Tokyo Dome, and also the clip of him riding a horse to a fan’s house
in PBVII. He talks about how it was quite dangerous to ride the horse at Tokyo
Dome, how he has ridden horses for years, and how he rode a horse to the supermarket
(in PBVII). Gackt performed No ni Saku Hana no You ni wearing a white and
pink print shirt and white pants, accompanied by piano. His hair was dark
brown and straight. He sat alone on white steps that had the look of stone.
It was a very touching performance.

June 22, 2007
When Gackt first appears on the show, he is wearing a black leather jacket,
white shirt, black leather pants and big dark sunglasses. They first mention
that Gackt’s song, RETURNER~闇の終焉~ (RETURNER~yami no shuuen~), was number
one on the Oricon chart for this week. When Gackt comes out right before his
performance, he has changed into his RETURNER outfit, which is a tattered,
long black leather coat. He is also wearing a black eyepatch over his right
eye (probably in reference to Yamamoto Kansuke, the main character in Fuurin
Kazan). The hosts first comment about his outfit and his long hair, which
is a wig. Gackt jokes that it suddenly grew long from when they saw him just
a few minutes before. He then explains that he is wearing it because he is
currently playing Uesugi Kenshin in the Taiga drama, Fuurin Kazan. Tamori
asks if he always wears it through the filming, and Gackt responds that he
always keeps it on, even when he eats; he then jokes, saying that Tamori probably
keeps his wig on all the time too! For the performance of RETURNER, Gackt
is using the special mic that he used for the REDEMPTION performances. He
is accompanied by GacktJob, and the stage is empty except for Gackt and the
band. It is very simply lighted with blue and red lights.
