Dearest Enlings~
July 4 is coming up quick, and we need your help to celebrate Gackt’s birthday! This month (okay, it’s only 2.5 weeks…sorry for the late notice! ^^;) our theme is “Gackt’s Birthday”, and this time the theme is open to anything you can come up with. It can be icons, wallpapers, banners, comics, fanart, fanfics, videos, anything you can come up with as long as it’s related to Gackt’s birthday. Please have fun with this, and poke us if you have an idea that is not on our list and you have questions!|

This will not be a contest, so there will be no judging and no prizes will be given. But, everyone will get 5 PAS points for each submission (each submission must be significantly different in order to receive the 5 points; e.g., you can’t submit the same icon 5 times in 5 different colors and expect to receive 5 points for each of them!). Then on top of that, we will award extra points to submissions based on each individual work. Amaze us and you’ll get higher points! :D

We will post the submissions here and on Enlings on Gackt’s birthday (reserving our right to not post any submissions we deem…un-postable ^^;). Please keep all submissions PG-13 or tamer for this theme!

Specifications:
Icons: 100 by 100 pixels; 72 dpi resolution; GIFs and JPEGs are allowed

Wallpapers: 1024 by 768 pixels; 72dpi resolution

Banners: 468 by 60 pixels

Fanart:
• Resolution: 300 dpi (We would appreciate it if you refrain from sending us files bigger than 5MB.)
• Participants must send in a 400px wide size version AND a 100x100x72dpi thumbnail of their work.
• Both digital and traditional (hand-drawn) art works are acceptable.
• No photo manipulations allowed.
Fanfics: No word minimum or maximum. PG-13 and tamer for this one. Any genre, as long as it's related to his bday.

Fanvideos:
• Size: 600MB maximum
• Length: Must be between 3 to 5 minutes
• Format: Mpeg / Avi
Remember, this is an open theme, so you are welcome to do anything else, even if it's not listed here! Poke us if you have questions on specs for anything not listed here. ^^

Submissions and Deadline:
• All submissions must be sent in before 30 June 2009 at midnight, Japan time, to be eligible for the points.
• All participants will get 5 PAS points per unique submission.
• Additional PAS points will be awarded based on the merits of each individual submission.
• All submissions (or links to where the file can be downloaded) are to be posted on LJ which will be screened. Uploading sites: Mediafire / Yousendit (anything BUT megaupload). Or email to Japonais@eiennoyume.com
